The driver of this pickup truck apparently escaped serious injuries when the vehicle went off Wallis Run Road, traveled down a 15-foot embankment and landed in Wallis Run, three miles east of Calvert, in Gamble Township about 1:45 p.m. Monday, according to state police. The truck was not submerged, police said. It was unknown if the driver got of the truck on their own or was helped out by a passerby. The driver reportedly was taken in a privately-owned vehicle to a home near Kellyburg, about five miles north of the scene. The driver was later questioned by police. No other details were available.
